Basketball Recap: Au Gres-Sims Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hillman last Thursday, Au Gres-Sims came back down to earth. The Au Gres-Sims Wolverines fell just short of the Hale Eagles by a score of 50-47 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wolverines have suffered since March 8, 2024.

Au Gres-Sims has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Hale, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hale beat Au Gres-Sims by a score of 50-47 on Tuesday.
