For the second straight game, Cane Bay will face off against Goose Creek. Cane Bay will take on Goose Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cane Bay is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

While Cane Bay didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Goose Creek by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cobras.

Cane Bay got a great performance from Isaac Brace as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Brace has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Cane Bay let Ethan Dodson and Chandler Berry run wild. Dodson scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Berry scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Dodson also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Mitchell Bennett was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

Goose Creek has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-2 record this season. Cane Bay's win bumped their record up to 6-2.
