Preview: Northview Chiefs vs. Laurel Hill Hoboes
The Northview Chiefs will head out on the road to challenge the Laurel Hill Hoboes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Northview suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Pensacola Christian Academy, falling 48-20. Northview was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.
Meanwhile, Laurel Hill was able to grind out a solid victory over Baker on Thursday, taking the game 50-41.
This is the second loss in a row for Northview and nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Laurel Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Northview was dealt a bruising 66-13 loss at the hands of Laurel Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Northview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
