While Friends Select's win against Jenkintown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Drakes 8-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Miles Lesser was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Friends Select has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs this season. As for Jenkintown, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Friends Select is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Academy of the New Church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Jenkintown, they will face off against The Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
