Volleyball Game Preview: Hurricane Tigers vs. Mountain View Bruins

The Hurricane Tigers will face off against the Mountain View Bruins at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Hurricane heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Monday. They lost 3-0 to Orem. The defeat continues a trend for Hurricane in their meetings with Orem: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Mountain View faced Crimson Cliffs in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Bruins fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2.

Hurricane's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-8.

Hurricane came up short against Mountain View in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, falling 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
