Volleyball Recap: Beechcroft Wins Going Away Against East

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Beechcroft and East had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted against the Tigers since September 6, 2022.

The win didn't come easy: East scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

Beechcroft's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for East, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beechcroft will head out to face off against Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East, they will face off against Columbus International at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
