            For the second straight game, Madison Prep Academy will face off against Port Allen. Madison Prep Academy is taking a road trip to  challenge Port Allen  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The  teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Madison Prep Academy has struggled recently with six defeats in a row, while Port Allen will arrive with three straight  wins.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Madison Prep Academy's offense. They lost  16-0 to Port Allen on Tuesday.
For Port Allen's part,  Hunter Bodin made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Bodin has been consistent : he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Jack Dickinson was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, six  RBI,  and four  runs. He is becoming a predictor of Port Allen's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 12-1 (and 6-8 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Kaden Wolf, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 Port Allen was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .450. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in March.
 Port Allen's  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 18-9. As for Madison Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-19.
