Cookeville faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cavaliers beat the Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Cookeville were the better team in the second half.

Cookeville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-1-2 record this season. As for Houston, they moved to 15-2-5 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
