Recap: Glenbard North vs. Metea Valley
Glenbard North wasn't able to find success on the road in its prior game, but the return home seemed to do it good. It crushed Metea Valley last week, winning 42 - 0. Glenbard North struggled to find the scoreboard the game before, so the high-scoring effort was a welcome change of pace.
Glenbard North is now evened up at 4-4. The defeat makes it one more game for Metea Valley (0-8) without a win.
The two teams have their sights set on raising those records in their upcoming games. Metea Valley will square off against Rock Island this Friday at 7:00 PM. After another low point total this last game, Metea Valley has fallen into a real scoring funk its past three games; hopefully the team can find some way to reach the endzone more consistently. As for Glenbard North, it will battle it out against Neuqua Valley on Friday at 7:30 PM. Glenbard North is forecast to lose based on state rankings, so it will be looking to overturn expectations.
