Basketball Recap: Victory Road Christian Academy Find Success

Victory Road Christian Academy won the last time they faced Trinity Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Victory Road Christian Academy Minutemen walked away with a 48-37 win over the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Minutemen.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Betsy Sundahl posted 23 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sundahl has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Henry, who had six points and six rebounds.

The victory got Victory Road Christian Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Coincidentally, Victory Road Christian Academy and Trinity Christian Academy will both be playing Varsity Opponent the next time they take the court. Victory Road Christian Academy will head out to face Varsity Opponent on Friday, while Trinity Christian Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 a.m. on February 25th.
