Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glencoe). They put the hurt on the Newberg Tigers with a sharp 22-3 win on Wednesday. Considering the Crimson Tide have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kalli Farrimond made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base.

In other batting news, Glencoe got a massive performance out of Makena Petrick, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs Petrick has posted since back in May of 2024. Harlow Huson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Glencoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .422. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Newberg only posted a batting average of .231.

As for Newberg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
