Baseball Recap: Clovis East Comes Up Short

After flying high against San Luis Obispo last Friday, Clovis East came back down to earth. The Timberwolves fell just short of the Clovis North Broncos by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Timberwolves have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Clovis East's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Clovis North, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

While Clovis East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
