Softball Recap: Mobile Christian Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Mobile Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Locust Fork Hornets on Tuesday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Leopards have posted since April 14th.

Mobile Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 22-19-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Locust Fork, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-10.

Mobile Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-1 win against Madison Academy on the 13th. Locust Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
