Vandalia hasn't had much luck against Staunton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Vandals will venture away from home to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m.
Vandalia is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since April 11th on Thursday. They lost 10-3 to Litchfield.
Vandalia saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mady McCall, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Staunton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They came out on top against Pana by a score of 4-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.
Not much got past Gianna Bianco, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Pana off the board. Bianco has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.
