Soccer Recap: West Johnston Takes a Loss

West Johnston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Sanderson Spartans, falling 4-0. Israel Cruz was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

West Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sanderson, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

West Johnston has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Southeast Raleigh on the 22nd. As for Sanderson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Cape Fear on the 22nd.
