Gardendale's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Clay-Chalkville Cougars a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won five matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Clay-Chalkville from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Tindel Holsomback led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Gardendale's victory bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Clay-Chalkville, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gardendale will host Pinson Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clay-Chalkville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Clay-Chalkville take on Pell City at 5:00 p.m. on April 2nd.
