Volleyball Recap: Glenwood Takes a Loss

Glenwood and Normal University squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Glenwood had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Normal University Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

Alexis Neumann paced Glenwood's offense, picking up four kills. Neumann got some help from Mo Wiezorek and her six assists. Devin Spencer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Normal University to victory were Lola Clayton and Emma Jean Lehnen. Clayton had 17 assists, while Lehnen had nine digs. Clayton has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last ten times she's played.
