West Union extended their winning streak to eight on Monday, bumping them up to 8-0. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-50 W against Wheeler. West Union has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Wheeler, too.

As for Wheeler, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Wheeler's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Case Null, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 11 points. Another player making a difference was Preston Bishop, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 14 points.

West Union didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-57 win against Lewisburg on the 25th. As for Wheeler, they have also already played their next game, a 67-47 victory against Tupelo Christian Prep on the 25th.
