 Riverdale typically has all the answers at home, but  on Wednesday Arcadia proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  win over the Riverdale Falcons. This was payback for Arcadia, who suffered  a  3-1  loss the last time these two teams met.
  Adam Emerich was  excellent,  going 3-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Isaac Stoner, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Riverdale's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Evan Reiter, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Arcadia's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Riverdale, their defeat  ended  a  nine-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 16-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arcadia will  square off against Pandora-Gilboa at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Riverdale, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Wynford at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Riverdale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7  runs per game  this season.
