Volleyball Recap: Harrison Falls to Clarkston in First Game of Season

Harrison unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Clarkston Angoras on Tuesday. The Hoyas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Angoras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Clarkston scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17.

Coincidentally, Harrison and Clarkston will both be playing Wheeler the next time they take the court. Clarkston will head out to face Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Harrison will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
