Providence played against Clarksville on Wednesday and won via forfeit.

Cole Huett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Mauk, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Providence always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clarksville only posted an OBP of .357.

Providence is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games.
