Flag Football Recap: Conant Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Conant won the last time they faced Hoffman Estates and Arianna Dugo did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 32-6 margin over the Hawks on Saturday with plenty of help from Dugo, who rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 105 yards and a pair of TDs. Her rushing production has been exceptional as that marked her fifth straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.

Conant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Katherine Angelino and Vicky Kolasa. Kolasa also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.

Conant's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8. As for Hoffman Estates, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Coming up, Conant will take on Maine East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hoffman Estates does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
