Softball Recap: East Syracuse-Minoa Starts Season with Loss at Home

East Syracuse-Minoa unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Whitesboro Warriors on Thursday, falling 26-2. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Spartans, who fell 8-6 when the teams last met back in April of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Syracuse-Minoa will take on Chittenango at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Whitesboro, they will head out to face off against West Genesee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
