Football Recap: Pelion Comes Up Short

Pelion lost against Mid-Carolina back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 35-14 to the Rebels. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Pelion lost, don't look at Jai Chuniesingh. Despite the final result, he picked up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown. Chuniesingh is crushing it when it comes to receiving yards: he's posted at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season. Johnathan Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Pelion's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mid-Carolina, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Pelion wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-30 victory against Eau Claire on the 25th. As for Mid-Carolina, they have also already played their next game, a 41-24 defeat against Batesburg-Leesville on the 25th.
