NorthWood was the 2-1 winner over Carmel when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Greyhounds on Saturday. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Ella Branham paced NorthWood's offense, picking up three kills. Branham got some help from Emily Uhlmann and her ten assists.

Carmel was led to victory by Tennie Anderson and Kaiyah Lancaster. Anderson had eight digs and one assist, while Lancaster had.

NorthWood's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Carmel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13.

NorthWood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mt. Vernon on the 11th. As for Carmel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Floyd Central on the 11th.
