Soccer Recap: Dan River Comes Up Short

Dan River came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Nelson County Governors.

Dan River's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-3-1. As for Nelson County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1-2.

Dan River has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Appomattox County on the 22nd. As for Nelson County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Radford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
