Softball Recap: Carlisle Gets the Win

Carlisle posted their closest win since April 15, 2025 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Central Tigers 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Bison in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Lindley Lenderman was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed 5.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Lenderman was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Kiersten Taylor was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adisun Golden, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Carlisle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Carlisle's record now sits at 3-8. As for Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle will square off against England at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will challenge Cabot at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
