While losing is never fun, the Swamp Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Rebels are ranked 89th).

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-20. As for Riverdale, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
