After flying high against Archie last Monday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Lincoln Cardinals suffered a rough 15-4 defeat at the hands of the Warsaw Wildcats on Saturday.

For Warsaw's part, Brylee Brewster was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Brewster has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts every time she's pitched this season. Brewster was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and a triple.

In other batting news, Tanna Howe was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Haylee Cobb, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.
