Soccer Recap: Argonaut Comes Up Short

Argonaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Amador Buffaloes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in January.

Cole Henness and Edison Nhek scored both of Argonaut's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 1-20-1. As for Amador, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11-1.

As of now, neither Argonaut nor Amador have any future games scheduled.
