Volleyball Recap: Cedar Comes Up Short

Cedar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Skyridge Falcons.

Estelle Slaney was nothing short of spectacular for Skyridge: she had eight digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Slaney a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keira Bassett, who had 15 assists and five digs.

Cedar now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Skyridge, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Cedar will be playing at home against Snow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyridge, they will be taking part in a tournament against Bountiful at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Redhawks will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
