Basketball Recap: Rutgers Prep Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Rutgers Prep's game last Sunday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past the Watchung Hills Regional Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. Given the Argonauts' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Warriors are ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rutgers Prep now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Watchung Hills Regional, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.
