Volleyball Game Preview: Corbett Cardinals vs. Rainier Columbians + How To Watch

Corbett has gone a perfect 8-0 against Rainier recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cardinals will square off against the Columbians at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Corbett didn't have quite enough to beat Warrenton and fell 3-2. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rainier, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on Warrenton with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last eight times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rainier is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. As for Corbett, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Corbett skirted past Rainier 3-2 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
