The Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They fell 63-54 to Tamarac. Waterford-Halfmoon has struggled against the Bengals recently, as their matchup on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Adam Rice, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds for Tamarac. Rice is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacob Price, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Waterford-Halfmoon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Tamarac, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8.
Waterford-Halfmoon will take on the Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saratoga Central Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Fordians in New York (the Saints are ranked 300th, while the Fordians are ranked 684th). As for Tamarac, they will head out on the road to square off against the Witches at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenwich is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
