Recap: North Lamar Panthers vs. Gilmer Buckeyes
Last Friday, North Lamar had to suffer through a rough 49-12 loss at the hands of Gilmer. North Lamar was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.
Although North Lamar took the loss, they still got scores from Anthony Gordon and Blake Hildreth.
Even if they lost, North Lamar's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Jackson Hoskins and his two sacks.
Among those leading the charge was Will Henderson, who rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Ta'Erik Tate, who picked up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown.
North Lamar has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Gilmer, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
North Lamar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gilmer also has no future games currently scheduled.
