Recap: Innovation Montessori Panthers vs. Babcock Trailblazers
It was a good run, but the Innovation Montessori Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They suffered a tough 46-25 defeat at the hands of Babcock. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Innovation Montessori has scored all season.
Innovation Montessori struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Babcock racked up 13 assists.
Babcock found their leader in underclassman Jameson Habing, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Habing has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Drake, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Innovation Montessori's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Babcock, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-9.
Innovation Montessori will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Regency Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Babcock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Family Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
