Baseball Game Preview: Central Springs Panthers vs. West Fork Spartans

The Central Springs Panthers will face off against the West Fork Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when Central Springs challenged Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, West Fork lost 23-7 to Newman Catholic on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered against the Knights since May 28, 2024.

Central Springs now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Central Springs came up short against West Fork in their previous meeting back in July of 2025, falling 7-3. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
