There's no place like home for Nauset Regional, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Nantucket Whalers 3-0 on Wednesday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Whalers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Nauset Regional walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24, 25-23.

Violet Yingling paced Nauset Regional's offense, picking up ten kills. Yingling got some help from Molly Archer and her 26 assists. Sophia Quinton controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Emanuelly Coelho and Julie Pires (C) certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Coelho had 16 assists and four digs, while Pires (C) had seven digs and two aces.

Nauset Regional's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Nantucket, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Nauset Regional beat the Whalers by a score of 3-0 later that day.
