Football Game Recap: Boyd County vs. Ashland Blazer

Ashland Blazer were successful in their last outing against Boyd County, and they didn't afford Boyd County any payback this time around. Ashland Blazer took the matchup and then some with a 48-0 victory on Friday over Boyd County. Followers of Ashland Blazer probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.

The win bumped Ashland Blazer's record up to 8-0. The defeat dropped Boyd County's record to 2-4.

Next week Ashland Blazer take on East Carter at 7:00 PM. Ashland Blazer are cruising in on a eight-game winning streak while East Carter are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses. Boyd County will be staying on the road, facing off against Rowan County. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
