Meanwhile, Buffalo faced Riverton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bison took a blow against the Wolverines, falling 41-12. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Torrington's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Buffalo, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
