Summertown had won three straight at home, but on Monday they bumped up to 25-7 to make it four. They had just enough and edged out the Lawrence County Wildcats 6-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

As for Lawrence County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-12-1 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since March 17th.

For Lawrence County's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callie Brown, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Lily Loyd was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Summertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lawrence County, they will take on Columbia Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
