McPherson entered their tilt with Andover Central on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Andover Central Jaguars, sneaking past 50-47. The Bullpups have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Jaguars, too.

Andover Central lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Taylin Tabor, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points and four steals. Tabor is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Reese Wilborn was another key player, putting up 14 points.

McPherson's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Andover Central, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.

McPherson and Manhattan will face off at 7:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Andover Central, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Andover Central Jaguars duke it out with the Goddard Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
