Basketball Recap: Abington Friends Comes Up Short

Abington Friends was the 70-57 winner over Abraham Lincoln when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Abington Friends fell to the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters 69-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (57), Abington Friends still had to take the loss.

Miguel Rosa Jr was nothing short of spectacular for Abraham Lincoln: he posted 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristen Hall, who earned ten points.

Abington Friends' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Abraham Lincoln, their record is now 5-7.

Abington Friends will venture away from home to face off against Friends' Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Abington Friends knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Friends' Central likes a good challenge. As for Abraham Lincoln, they will welcome Overbrook at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Abraham Lincoln is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.7 points per game this season.
