Softball Game Preview: Westampton Tech Panthers vs. Riverside Rams

The Westampton Tech Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Riverside Rams at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Westampton Tech has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Westampton Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Bordentown and fell 15-14. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (13), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Riverside and Haddonfield finished up their contest with a 0-0 tie on Monday.

Westampton Tech's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. With that draw, Riverside's record moves to 10-3-1.

Westampton Tech came up short against Riverside in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, falling 9-5. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
