Basketball Game Preview: Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs vs. Atlantic Coast Stingrays

The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will take on the Atlantic Coast Stingrays on Thursday. Flagler Palm Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.

In Thursday's Canine Competition, Flagler Palm Coast had to take the L. They took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Deltona on Thursday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Despite their loss, Flagler Palm Coast saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. A'Keviyah Lewis, who posted 12 points along with eight boards and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. Those 12 points gave Lewis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kierra Clark, who put up ten points in addition to eight rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Atlantic Coast, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Stanton 42-9. The Stingrays have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

Flagler Palm Coast better keep an eye on Kylie Johnson. She was instrumental in Atlantic Coast's win, putting up 12 points. Laila Johnson was another key player, earning eight points.

Flagler Palm Coast's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7. As for Atlantic Coast, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.
