Basketball Recap: Coppell Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Coppell won the last time they faced Lewisville and things went their way on Friday too. The Coppell Cowboys snuck past the Lewisville Farmers with a 55-49 victory. Given the Cowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Farmers are ranked 333rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Coppell's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-11. As for Lewisville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
