Baseball Game Preview: Schuylkill Valley Panthers vs. Hamburg Hawks

The Schuylkill Valley Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Hamburg Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Schuylkill Valley has given up an average of 6.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Schuylkill Valley is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Monday. They took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tulpehocken. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three runs.

Wisten Ramos made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tristan Goda, who went 2-for-4 with three runs.

Meanwhile, Hamburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Northern Lehigh on Tuesday, taking the game 12-8.

Schuylkill Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hamburg, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
