Basketball Recap: Belmont's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

Belmont won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Belmont Braves took down the Highland Cardinals 50-31. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Cardinals are ranked 284th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Belmont's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
