Softball Recap: Port Clinton Redskins vs. Willard Crimson Flashes
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Huron, Port Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 20-4 margin over the Willard Crimson Flashes. The Redskins have beaten the Crimson Flashes the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Crimson Flashes has come to flipping the script.

Ashton Sanchez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.
