After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stafford, Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Phoenix have posted since April 22, 2024.

Eimy Rodriguez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Kaylanie Martinez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
